Case 1

72 hours to Dubai, 1,000 prayer rugs shipped by air from the UAE

Mr. Shi’s UAE customer needed 1,000 wool prayer rugs in 72 hours. He was anxious and finally found me. We have been buying out 20 slots per week from two major airlines for many years, and we are one of the top five air transport companies in the Middle East. After I learned about Mr. Shi’s demands, I was not anxious because this is our routine operation.

1,000 wool prayer rugs are in the Dongguan factory, and the gross weight is 2.3 tons after packing and boxing. I immediately arranged a special car to pick up the goods point-to-point, and at the same time I arranged the next day’s direct flight to the UAE.

I quickly locked the next day’s air space, and the special car sent out at 4 o’clock in the afternoon had already delivered 1,000 prayer rugs to our warehouse. The operator checked and confirmed the packaging and labels of the goods, and sent them to the airport after ensuring that they met the specifications, and arranged the procedures such as tallying, weighing, and customs declaration.

At 12 noon on Wednesday, the direct flight carrying these 1,000 prayer rugs took off on time and arrived at Dubai Airport around 8 pm.

On Thursday morning, after 2 hours, these prayer rugs were successfully cleared. They were picked up from the customs supervision warehouse to our overseas warehouse around noon, and were delivered to the exhibition site designated by Mr. Shi’s client in the afternoon. When his client saw these 1,000 prayer rugs, he calculated that it took a total of 72 hours, and Mr. Shi even said that he would contact us next time when there was stock!

Case 2

15 tons of oversized cargo was sent to the Middle East by air and arrived in Dubai in 5 days

A big order can't be arranged in one go by others

I recently transported a nearly 15-ton oversized cargo to Dubai by air, a medium-pressure rotor for a steam turbine, with a single piece weight of up to 14,438 kg, which is classified as overweight cargo. The dimensions are 210×169×178 cm, and the volume reaches 6.32 cubic meters.

The first challenge is packaging. We customized wooden boxes that meet the requirements. The second challenge is the transportation equipment. We used a 35-ton platform truck and a 40-ton crane to successfully put the cargo into the cargo hold. The packaging of overweight cargo is a very professional job. Only by being able to do overweight cargo packaging can a freight forwarding company for the Middle East air transport line reflect its professional capabilities.

In addition, the customs declaration and clearance process for overweight cargo is relatively complicated, and it requires professionals who are familiar with relevant regulations and procedures to handle it. Mr. Lin’s factory in the UAE is expanding its production line. Due to the tight schedule, a batch of high-precision CNC machine tools, automated production lines and some testing instruments need to be shipped to the Middle East in advance.
