Who Offers Fast & Guaranteed Air Freight to the Middle East?
Mr. Lin was expanding his factory in the UAE. With a tight schedule, he needed to ship a batch of high-precision CNC machines, automated production lines, and testing equipment via air freight to the Middle East ASAP. Because this equipment was highly sensitive, Mr. Lin demanded both speed and guaranteed capacity from his freight forwarder. He insisted the shipment arrive at the destination worksite within 7 days, completely undamaged.
I reviewed the list – it was quite extensive. The critical point was absolutely no delays. Once booked, we had to secure space and ensure the flight departed on time. Plus, customs clearance and delivery at the destination needed to be seamless. I discussed the details with Mr. Lin and presented our price list.
Mr. Lin initially said the price was high and didn't commit. He mentioned wanting to visit our office but didn't give a specific time. Honestly, I didn't think too much of it at that moment.
Then, one afternoon, Mr. Lin suddenly called saying he was downstairs! Turns out, he intentionally didn't tell me the exact time – it was a surprise visit. He wanted to see the real state of our company.
Our company occupies the entire 8th floor of Tower B, Rongde International Plaza in Longgang District. We own the floor; we don't just rent it. With nearly 100 employees, Mr. Lin was clearly impressed by what he saw. I explained that we were established in 1998 – that's 27 years in business. We operate two dedicated air freight routes to the Middle East:
1. Guangzhou/Shenzhen direct to UAE: We have 30 fixed air pallet positions per week, averaging 6 pallets per day.
2. Guangzhou/Shenzhen to UAE via Beijing: This route is even more frequent, operating daily, Monday through Sunday.
This means we have guaranteed pallet space on flights to the UAE every single day. With this dual-route capacity, we can absolutely ensure both the speed and the ability to handle large cargo volumes for air freight to the Middle East.
Direct flights to the UAE take 1 day to Dubai.
Flights via Beijing take 2-3 days to Dubai.
Combined with our 30 pallets per week advantage, this sets us far apart from most competitors. Typical freight forwarders operate on a "spot booking" basis – they take orders first, then scramble to find pallet space later. The big downside? They often struggle to control capacity. For example, if they've booked air freight to the Middle East for a client, but the airline cancels last minute, they have to start searching for space all over again. That wastes crucial time.
We're different. We lease our own pallet positions – at least 6 every day. We control our own space. If we have extra capacity, we can immediately slot in urgent shipments.
There are 60,000 freight forwarders in Shenzhen. Many handle air freight to the Middle East, and quite a few are our size. Several specialize in Middle East routes. But very few match our scale and operate two dedicated routes. It's common to see clients hand their air freight to the Middle East to a forwarder, who then subcontracts it... and it often gets passed around until it finally lands with us – the source. We end up shipping it anyway!
I showed Mr. Lin past documentation and records for our air freight to UAE shipments, explaining key details. He agreed to proceed.
Result? Exactly 7 days later, that batch of machinery and equipment arrived safely at Mr. Lin's specified worksite.
