How they do it:

Some shady freight forwarders get hold of your goods, then deliberately oversize (length, width, height) or weight on paper. Customs Nightmares: Detaining your goods, being asked for more paperwork, or worse – having the goods returned or destroyed.

Tracking Blackout: Once your goods are shipped, they disappear into a black hole. No updates, just tension.
